Three exceptional members of staff from Firgrove House Residential Care Home have been announced as finalists in the Care & Support West Awards 2025, a prestigious celebration of excellence in health and social care across the South West.
The staff were nominated for their outstanding commitment to person-centred care, teamwork, and for going above and beyond in supporting residents and their families. Their recognition as finalists is a proud moment for the entire Firgrove team.
“We are absolutely thrilled to see three of our colleagues recognised at this level,” said Carly Smith Registered Manager at Firgrove House. “Their compassion, dedication, and professionalism shine every day, and being named finalists is a well-deserved acknowledgment of their hard work.”
The Care & Support West Awards are one of the most respected accolades in the region, highlighting excellence across the care sector. Each finalist is selected based on their contribution to quality care, innovation, and positive impact on the lives of those they support.
Firgrove House, part of Improving Prospects Ltd, has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, family-oriented residential care. Located in Yate, the home is known for its warm atmosphere, exceptional staff, and commitment to dignity and respect for every resident.
“These nominations are more than just individual achievements – they’re a celebration of the whole Firgrove family,” added Sophie Chester-Glyn, Director of Improving Prospects Ltd. “We’re proud of our team and grateful for the difference they make every single day.”
The winners will be announced at a formal awards ceremony later in 2025.
